Sri Raghavendra Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital Chitradurga was established in the year 2006-2007. The college is recognized by CCIM Approval by (DEPARTMENT OF AYUSH), Ministry of Health and Family welfare Govt. of India. The college is situated at Malladihali in Chitradurga. The lush green surroundings and the tranquility of the countryside provide the perfect backdrop for the college. The Ayurvedic Medical institute is dedicated the achievement of excellence in both Ayurvedic Education and Research.
Sri Raghavendra Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital Chitradurga is spread across an area of 20 acres of land. The college has well-equipped laboratories, dissection hall, demonstration hall, herbal garden and a library with a reading hall facility. The College has separate hostel for girls and boys. The college provides accommodation facilities both ladies and gents separately. The 12 acres of Herbal Garden is being maintained which facilitate the academic needs of students. The huge library has in its store the medical books worth 5.4 Lakh rupees. All the departments are well equipped with charts, models and specimens as per the affix body norms. The college is running 100 bedded well equipped hospital and also well equipped laboratory, operation Theatre, X-Ray Unit, ECG unit, Scanning, Intensive care unit and other modern facilities. The panchakarma unit is well established with all necessary equipments for the treatment both ladies & gents separately. The pharmacy is well equipped with electric pulveriseres, grandiers and all necessary equipments it is built on deep tradition of Ayurveda. Admission through management quota details is available with fee structure details. Direct admission is also possible.
